Michael Loschiavo who was rated as one of the top pole vaulters in the state is looking to take the next step to being a state finalist after his run to the Masters last season. CIF finalist last season Jack Dilbeck (4x1), Ash Reed – Krans (HJ) and Kaller Roemer (HJ & LJ) CIF is expected to return post season competition again this season.

HB Boys Track and Field News
Hello team, I just wanted to thank every track member and family member who attended the Jserra invitational. Our team bounced back very nicely from Thursday with solid performances from all our athletes. I didn't formally do a medal count but I would say we won our share. There were so many notable performances from our freshman. Our 4x100 beat a very good team from Serra of San Diego with clean exchanges. Jackson Truong had a good day: 100M (1) 12.20 400M (2) 56.33 Member of the 4x100 first place team and a LJ of 18-4.00 for second place. James Dohlnman, Dan Weil came up big in the HJ AND LJ. Our F/s distance team Hayden Lee , Cody Dahlen will continue to improve off this performance. Krystian Lahage recorded the best times of the day.
Our Varsity A team won the 4x100 and our B team finish 4th. This was a total team effort with with a good start and finished clean exchanges. Ramon Vargas and Kaller Roemer ran with our B team for the first time ever and made it look easy. Thank you. Jack Dilbeck and Joey Flemming times are coming down Jack recorded the best 100M mark this season for the team 11.69. Logan Emery, Pat Moan, Chris Gullen are all in the mid 50's in the 400M. Romo was close to 22' jump in the LJ. Logan Emery gets my vote for the great day. Logan time in the 200M was 23.52 1st Pl . He came back to run a 52. 96 3rd Pl in the 400M and ran the second leg on our 4x100 relay team. Our Varsity distance team took second in the distance Medley with Cole Whitiker , Austin Walder , Derrick Yamashita and Anthony Massi . Great Job! It should be noted that Ramon Vargas running in his very first varsity event posted a 2nd in the 110H and 2nd in the 300H.
